HELLO FRIENDS!!!! this is the interest check for beach episode, the cal-and-squee murdergame that will run from april 26th - june 6th. that is six weeks and six weeks maximum! might be less though, if y'all go a little nutty.

if you're at this post, it means you probably got a dm from one of us inviting you to the game! so here's some info:

- the game will be mafia style which means no evidence and no clues. vibes based, babey!!

- the game will be friendly to newbies because a lot of our friends haven't 1) played in murdergames and/or 2) played in mafia style murdergames. so don't stress!

- the game will be capped at 26 players so it's a little bigger than our usual short terms

as you consider if you want to join though, check out the game info for the most robust info! otherwise keep on readin'

our schedule for the week will be:

MON: Mingle Log
TUES: Role Announcement (To be explained later — lightweight, reactive TL. Not an event.)
WED: CR Event
THURS: Break
FRI: Investigation
SAT: Trial
SUN: Execution

as said in the game info page, the most activity intense portion of the week will be the trial (more deets on the game info page). but seriously, once again, don't stress because the main goal of this game is to just see if we can run one of these with our friends in the first place. we're not trying to make this a burden on anyone! if you wanna play, just tap in and we'll figure it out together! we've tried to do what we can to alter the trial format to make it a bit more friendly to people who can't sacrifice their entire weekend to the murder gods.

if you've read this far, thanks! and so not to scare you off: if you've been in the last few rounds of ayto (teens 2, perfect match, teens 3) — that's murdergame pacing. if you've played in an ayto round, you can play in a murdergame round. you'll be fine, prommy.
